Queensboro Bridge to Be Renamed for Ed Koch →
The 59th Street Bridge / Queensboro Bridge / Ed Koch Bridge has always actually been my favorite major bridge in this city. Don’t tell the others, but I have a thing for cantilever bridges (it was the longest cantilever span in North America for its first eight years of life!) and all that lovely steelwork.
